MAJOR POINTS OF THE BUDGET (Official release)

  • Rs 4057.4 crore has been allocated for the development of rural development
  • Rs 2500 crore for PPP Porjects in the next financial year
  • Rs 2500 crore for Metro and Vizinjam Port Projects
  • Rs 1013.11 crore for health sector
  • RS 100 crore for new dam at Mullaperiyar
  • For the welfare of rubber farmers, Rs 500 crore allocated
