BJP names new team in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: The BJP State president Kummnam Rajasekharan named his team of office bearers on Sunday. .

Sobha Surendran, K. Surendran, M. T. Ramesh and A. N. Radhakrishnan were nominated as general secretaries. General secretary in charge of organisation, who is to be deputed from the RSS, will be named later.

J. R. Padmakumar is the new spokesperson. Incumbent V. V. Rajesh, C. Sivankutty, V. K. Sajeevan, A. K. Nazeer, A. K. Nazeer, B. Gopalakrishnan, C. Krishnakumar, S. Girijakumari, Raji Prasad were named as secretaries.

The party has also appointed nine vice presidents. They include K. P. Sreesan Master, P. M. Velayudhan and George Kurian. Pratapa Varma is the new treasurer.

Mr. Rajasekharan has also inducted 18 persons ars new State Committee members. K. P. Prakash Babu is named State president of Yuva Morcha and Renu Suresh as president of Mahila Morcha.

The party is in talks with the BDJS formed by SNDP general secretary Vellappally Natesan in Delhi on formation of alliance. However, final outcome is yet to be announced.
