Thiruvananthapuram: The CPI (M) has decided to induct Udumbanchola member of the Assembly and CPI (M) State Secretariat member M. M. Mani into Kerala ministry.
The State committee of the party, which mete here on Sunday, gave the green signal for reshuffle in the Cabinet headed by Pinarai Vijayan.
According to reports, Mr. Mani is likely to be allocated the power portfolio. Minister for Electricity Kadakampally Surendran would get Cooperation and Tourism. Cooperation Minister A. C. Moideen would be the new Minister for Industries and Sports.
The Chief Minister was handling the industries portfolio following resignation of E. P. Jayarajan over allegations of nepotism.
Mr. Mani is likely to be sworn in on Wednesday.
