Thiruvananthapuram (updated): The team deputed by the Judicial Commission enquiring into the solar scam to fetch evidence from Coimbatore has virtually returned empty handed on Thursday as the bag recovered by witness Biju Radhakrishnan did not contain a CD or pendrive.
Biju Radhakrishnan reportedly told the team that the CD and pendrive might have been stolen or removed by someone.

Thiruvananthapuram: The government is likely to call an all-party meeting to arrive at a consensus on revival of the Athirappally Hydroelectric project across Chalakudy River.
Prior to that, the Cabinet will be discussing the project aimed at generating 163 MW of power.

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Cabinet on Wednesday decided to provide insulin pumps free of cost to diabetic children.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy told the media that it was the most reliable way to combat diabetes among children. Most of the families found it difficult to afford the huge cost of insulin pump. Minister M. K. Muneer had been entrusted to carry out discussions with persons who can supply the pumps at a reduced rate. The scheme would be implemented through the department of Social Justice.
